It's simple,Just give a Painted Pony.
I received the first one as a gift and fell totally in love with them. I have started collecting them now that I received the first on as a gift . I am a collector of the Native American Editions and I am hooked !!!
I just got "Copper Enchantment" today and it along with "Spirits of the Northwest" and"Childs Prayer" stood out among the other gifts. The artist who created this piece pays attention to detail but still keeps the elegangance that stands out in every horse.
I already had 3 Painted Ponies when I found some available at a local shop, and was quite happy to see them- but now which to choose. This and one other were just too nice a potential addition to our Southwest/Native American themed Sun Room to make it an easy choice. Oh, who am I kidding! I chose both, and my Painted Pony "Wish List" just keeps growing.
When this pony fisrt came out I just had to have a signed edition~~~~ I was so pleased when it arrived, signed and numbered 135/250. Lynn Bean really made this Appaloosa pop with copper and attention to details. Even the horses expression shows how proud he is.
Lynn is such a talented artist. She really pays attention to the little details on this pony. Love the colors and copper accents. A must have for any appaloosa lover!
For myself I picked up the larger limited edition version which has a foil lightning bolt and feather on the base. I've also picked up the smaller resin versions for friends who have all fallen in love with this particular piece and are all now fans of the Trail of Painted Ponies. I'm a friend of Lynn's and her work continues to amaze me. Copper Enchantment is one of my favorites, and she has done a superb job of making this piece very pleasing to the eye. Everywhere you look this piece has meaning both personal and broad in nature. The details just pop out at you and demands your attention. The eye hungers greedily, like a child in a candy store, at the subtle yet at the same time bold symbolic designs. This piece sits prominently in my living room and I never tire of ambling over to gaze lovingly at this wonderful piece. I loved this piece so much that I also purchased one of Lynn's water paintings of Copper Enchantment. Guests who come to visit alternate between the painting and figurine of Copper Enchantment.
Wonderful detail on this Pony. Love the embellishments. The colors are vivid and done in the earth tones. The only thing I wish is that the base had some detail.
