This pony was my first Painted Pony. When I was a child, I collected "horse statues", as they were called, and had a nice collection. However, they were quite plain compared with these beauties. The most difficult thing was choosing which one to start with, but I have decided I am glad I chose the Native American themed ponies. I now have four, and love each one. They are displayed in my entertainment center with my other Native American pieces of other types.

Was giving as a gift at Christmas,(the 6"er), to go with some of the other kinds of horses that I have collected over the years. It is a wonderful example of native american art. The blanket reminds me of some of the Navajo rugs that are in my parents house. I was also the only son to get one of these for Christmas. MaMa loves me the best. This will not be the last one that I will get.

Besides Wildfire, Tewa is my second favorite pony. I have him in the larger version also. I just love his detail and embellishments! The way he is painted is so very striking!! His base is wonderfully detailed. He will be a great addition to your collection!
