One great thing is its wide appeal - to the eye, the mind, and the heart of people of all ages. Those who read a lot, those who rarely read, those who appreciate photography and the beauty of the horse, those who are looking for a good word - all will find this book enjoyable.
Another great thing is its size. It can travel, it can be kept near at hand for looking through again without being in the way, it's not heavy and can be held in one hand. But it's plenty large enough to hold a lot of beauty and wisdom!
It just plain makes a person feel good!
