The "Official Autographed Editions" of 250 figurines
In response to requests from our enthusiastic collectors, we are delighted to announce that The Trail of Painted Ponies has created the only "Official Autographed Editions" figurines. Serious collectors have been searching for a way to collect figurines that are hand-signed and hand-numbered by the artists that created the original works of art from The Trail of Painted Ponies... Now they can, and they are available exclusively through our website store!
There will be eight Painted Ponies in the Winter 2008 Autographed Editions and each will be special:
- These are the only "Official Autographed Editions" that the artists will hand-sign and hand-number.
- These Autographed Editions will be limited to 250 and will be sequentially numbered 1/250 - 250/250.
- An Official Certificate of Authenticity will accompany each autographed figurine.
It’s said that serenity is not freedom from the storm, but peace amid the storm. With that in mind, this California artist set out to decorate her Pony with designs that put the heart at ease. She was inspired by such classically popular patterns as Blue Willow, a design that has graced the world’s finest dinnerware. (Who can resist the charming imagery of the star-crossed lovers who were turned into immortal lace birds?) And Coventry Blue, a delicate embroidery found on white linen and bed coverings that originated in 16th Century England and evokes pastoral strolls down shady lanes past white cottages and ponds dappled with lilies.
La Marr’s day job is a nurse in Stockton, California, but she is an artist in spirit, and the creator of the figurine, "Viva Las Vegas."
